At tonight’s AGM it was decided that 2023 is likely to be the final Swanland Show since a number of Committee members (including myself) wish to stand down. We need new Committee members, younger blood and fresh ideas if Swanland Show is to survive beyond 2023. As it stands, the next and possibly last Swanland

Schedules have been printed and have started to appear in local shops and venues. Look for the stand-out blue covers this year!

Lottery Funding

We are pleased to announce that we have been allowed to carry over our lottery funding grant from 2020 to support Swanland Show 2022.

Slug Pellets

The metaldehyde slug pellets ban comes into force in the UK as from March 31st. It is therefore illegal for gardeners to use pellets containing this organic compound. Professional and home gardeners must now turn to more environmentally friendly and humane methods for how to get rid of slugs in the garden.

Event

The Committee met on Thursday 31st March and, all being well, voted to hold Swanland Show on Saturday 10th September 2022 at St Barnabas Church Hall.
